Hydrangea Paniculata 'Grandiflora'
Description:
A deciduous, upright open shrub with a height and spread of 3 metres (10 feet). Fully hardy with large oval dark green leaves. Large, conical panicles of, mostly sterile, white flowers that turn pink or red from late summer.
Site and Care:
Prefers semi-shade and fertile, moist but well drained soil, of any type. Requires more shade in dry conditions. One of the few Hydrangeas that should be pruned back hard in spring. Provide a good layer of mulch after pruning.
