Salvia concolor 'Bicton'
Description:
A hardy perennial native to central Mexican native growing up to 3 m (10 feet) in ideal conditions. Large, vibrant purplish blue flowers are profuse. Ideal up against a fence or wall that offers morning sun and afternoon shade as well as protection from wind. This plant is a variant on S. concolor and flowers several weeks later often not flowering at all if there is an early hard frost.
